Something about the holiday seems to inspire me to write haiku… I think it must be the onslaught of sensory information. So here’s another little poem for you-hope you had a great 4th if you’re in a place that celebrates… And just a good Saturday if you’re not!
Spring heat swells warm feet; It’s too early for this but cold tile makes them smile
Lately, I’ve been on a haiku kick. I like the challenge of having to say something with only 17 syllables, having to capture emotion and choose words very carefully. I tinker.
