30 Days of Thanks 2014 – Day 11

Today I am thankful for the men and women in this country willing to sacrifice their lives so that we can have the freedom to do what we want.  Too often, they are forgotten once they have served.

As an aside, I am also thankful that after a later-than-usual night at work, I have today off to spend with the little monkey, to run an errand or two, and not have to rush around.  Though I gave her the preschool version of why we have today off, she doesn’t quite understand yet why today is important, but she will in time.
