It takes a village to raise a child, or so the proverb goes. So today, I am thankful for my village. Yesterday, Maya got to spend the day with her friend Aimee, who taught her how to properly say, “Come on!” and provided a day full of imaginative play for her (and got her to nap – hallelujah!). Today, she spent some time with her Great Uncle Jack, had an indoor picnic with him, and got another set of drumsticks to add to her collection. She is a lucky gal to have so many people who love her and are willing to help her Mom and Dad out in a pinch.
