Nothing is more relaxing after a long day at work (and today will be a long one!) than going out onto my back patio to tend to my flowers. I just have a few pots, but they are the first flowers I’ve ever grown from seed and they have such beautiful petals. To me, it is ombré at it’s finest.
Gorgeous! Zinnias are such a wonderful flower and best grown from seed. Thanks!
My pleasure! Thanks for the comment – and glad you liked it!
I never understood why people would say that gardening was relaxing – until I started doing it myself! – It’s as if there is nothing else in the world except your flowers (or tomato plants, lettuce, etc.) and tending to them and watching them grow. That zinnia is spectacular!
I couldn’t stop staring at it …really so beautiful!
Beautiful!
Pretty! I’ve never planted Zinnias but have been noticing them everywhere and now I want! 🙂 I, too, love starting and ending my day in my backyard tending to my flowers and vegetable garden. I’ve never grown anything from seed but just bought my first packet of sugar snap peas to be planted later this summer for, hopefully, spring crop.
Oh, exciting! I wanted to do some vegetables but I think I waited this year too late to plant, so I just did some herbs and the zinnias. Also, the spots I have get the Western exposure during the summer…my thyme plant is near death because of the heat! I need to stick with hardier varieties of things…
You’ve done very well with your garden! 🙂
