Today I’m thankful to be able to stay local on one of the worst traffic days of the year. Instead of sitting on a plane, riding on a train, or stopping and going in my automobile, I’m at home, cooking Sweet Potato Noodle Kugel and Baked Cheese Grits for my family to eat tomorrow and listening to a Pandora shuffle of Chanukah and Christmas music. For this, today, I am grateful.
