Today I am thankful for my job. After leaving my job to raise Maya and being home for 2 years (subbing here and there), I was welcomed back into a part-time teaching position with open arms. I love working with the teenage population that I do and giving back to a community I grew up in. I have wonderful co-workers and supervisors. I love that I can show Maya that this is one option available to her when she grows up. I am happy that I can contribute financially to supporting my family, especially in a depressed economy.
